Grr, I'm Working Hard!

I lost 8 pounds in one week, going from 147 to 139. While that sounds utterly fantastic it is not. Coming off of vacation I always take off the pounds that I had gained there quickly. It is from here on out that I lose, if I am SUPER luck 1-2 pounds a week. Do you ever play that game where you look at another girl and wonder how much they weigh? In my crazy mind if I weigh the same as some cute chick next to me that I will look EXACTLY like her if I weigh that too. Unfortunately that is NOT the case. I weigh the same as sexy Kristal Mulder at times but she is freakin 5'10 and that weight just doesn't look the same on my frame. I am hoping to have a great summer where I ain't hidin my belly so much. GOOD LUCK CHICKY LADIES!!

I Am Hopelessly Flawed


The last challenge that just ended I weighed in at 133 an all time low that I haven't weighed since before I got married. My first weigh-in for this challenge and I am a whopping 147. This may not seem all that much except that means that I gained back EVERYTHING from the last challenge. What a freakin waste!! The above mentioned picture is one of the culprits. I love these things and I wait for them all year long. I would make love to them if I could. Ah.. at least Easter is almost over.

133, IT IS GREAT TO BE!!

So 14 pounds down this challenge. I was shooting for 130 but you won't hear me complaining. I don't have any full body shots but maybe I'll post some later. I woke up this final morning of weigh-in with wicked swollen glands and a major sore throat. I worked out anyways and my pants actually fell down to my knees on the treadmill. I also put on a skirt to wear to church yesterday and couldn't keep it up while I was dressing my kids so I tossed it. It feels SO good to outgrow clothes! I am in for the next challenge. I'll probably put on a couple more pounds til than but I am dedicated. It's gonna be summer ladies!! Lets keep it up!

Easter Dress

So I am currently between 134 and 135 which sounds great, right? Well I saw that picture of Collen at 158 and she looks WAY better than I do. I am 5'5 and I still don't think I look as great as her. My husband says it is all in my head, but whatever. I decided to get the cute matchy outfits for my kids for Easter and than I thought HEY!! I want an Easter dress too. I ordered this in a size 10 because realistically I am probably an 8 but I would rather shoot higher than lower, better for my self esteem. I am hoping to reach 130 by Easter. I have serious scary issues with hating my flappy "relief society" arms so short sleeves scare me. I am more of a 3/4 length sleeve girl so I am being brave with length and COLOR. I love black and brown too so HUGE step for me. Wish me luck, come on 130!!

Closer to mid 30's

Yep there is a glare but is IS 136. I am hoping that as my age gets closer to the mid 30's that my body weight will get closer to the EARLY 30's. What a trial. 6 more pounds until my goal. I am going to Mexico in a little over a month so I can totally hit that by than right?? Ya, me!

Diet Dr. Pepper

OK so my new favorite thing is the Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. I have ALWAYS been a Dr. Pepper drinker and oh how I loathe diet drinks. I have tried my darndest in the past to quit soda altogether and have never succeeded so I figure this is better than the hard stuff right? Alright so my question is does drinking diet soda impair my weight loss that much or is it a semi-safe thing to do so that I can quench my cravings but not go overboard. Now I am no idiot and I KNOW it is super bad for your teeth but well um... screw the teeth I want to be skinny. So what does everyone think??

Snowed In!!

So I live at the Sunrise Park Ski Resort and of course the snow here was freaking crazy!! 8 feet in 4 days, no power, no school, and can't go anywhere. So of course there was no back-up generator for my treadmill and nothin to do but eat so I stayed the same poundage wise this week but didn't gain (thank goodness) I almost went banana sandwich staying at home but I finally made it!! Oh well I will be taking it up a notch next week so watch out!!

Do the Truffle Shuffle Chunk!!

If you are as old as I am and LOVE the "Goonies" than you will know Chunk and the "Truffle Shuffle". How come every time I see that part of the movie I think of myself. Someday I wish to not think of myself in reference to Chunk but I had to share some of my funny thoughts. I am still plodding along and lost 3 pounds this week so I am very pleased. DELICIOUS!!

I didn't do perfectly this week, a few bags of m&m's came my way but I found a great item. This has lots of cheesy goodness that covers the vegetables and its only 50 calories per serving. I could double my serving to make it a 100 calorie meal and eat just that. I am NO vegetable fan but this is delicious. Definitely worth it and its super.

I'm a Hot Mess

Yep, that pretty much sums it up!! I lost 25 pounds doing this initial challenge last year and have gained 5 back, which isn't so bad except that every bit of weight I put on goes right to my belly and than to my flappy arms. Oh well last challenge was over the holidays and I said FREAKING SCREW THAT!! But now the first of the year always inspires and so I go forth plodding along, making mistakes and getting right back on that diet wagon! Good luck ladies I am rooting for ya!!
